What we style
Brides and bridal parties. Classic updos, low chignons, romantic half-ups and soft Hollywood waves. We talk through your dress neckline, veil or hairpiece and the look you've been saving, then build something that suits your hair rather than fighting it.
Prom and homecoming. Whatever is current that year, done properly — and pinned so it survives the dancing. Popular Saturday slots go early in the season, so book ahead.
Mothers of the bride and groom, and guests. Elegant styling that photographs well and doesn't feel like someone else's hair.
Anniversaries, portraits and reunions. A blowout and a bit of shape is often all it takes.

The trial run
For weddings we strongly recommend a trial, usually four to eight weeks out. We try the style, photograph it from every angle, adjust what you don't love, and note the pins and products used so the day itself is a repeat, not an experiment. Bring your veil, hairpiece or jewellery if you have it, and a photo or two of looks you like.
Timing and the day itself
Occasion styling is booked with generous time and never double-booked. For a wedding party we'll work out the running order in advance so nobody is rushed and the bride isn't styled first and left waiting. Because we're a two-chair studio, large parties book well ahead — call as soon as you have a date.
Colour, a smoothing treatment or a trim should be done a week or two before the event, not the same week. We'll help you plan the sequence.

Do you do wedding hair in Charleston?

Should I book a trial?
For a wedding, yes. Usually four to eight weeks before. We photograph the result and note exactly what was used so the day itself is predictable.
How far ahead should I book prom hair?
As soon as you know the date. Prom Saturdays fill first, and appointments run back to back.
Can you come to the venue?
We style in the studio, where we have everything to hand and can keep to time. Free parking is right at the door.
Should I color my hair before the event?
Yes, but a week or two beforehand rather than the same week — it gives color time to settle and leaves room to adjust.
