Why people drive past closer salons
Most of the Kanawha Valley has a salon within a few minutes. People come to Jeannie's anyway for three things that are hard to find nearby: a colorist who can correct what's gone wrong, the American Wave, and a private two-chair studio where the same stylist does your hair every time. Clients who've moved to Huntington, Beckley, Columbus and further still book around trips home.
Getting here
From I-64, take the Route 60 / Washington Street West exit toward the West Side; Ohio Avenue is a short drive from the interstate. There's free parking directly at the studio, so there's no hunting for a downtown space.
